Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Authorised access to the PASCAL website is only available to PASCAL Members, Associates, Affilities and selected project staff. A great deal of site content is publically viewable, but only authorised users may post content or gain access to private areas.

PASCAL website users are authorised through principals, project leaders or directly from the PASCAL Executive Officer at the University of Glasgow. Users are automatically notified through their registered email address when their account is created and provided instructions to log in.

Click on the LOGIN link which you will find on the top right of every page.
A “login panel” will appear in the centre of the page
Enter EITHER your name OR your email address, then your password

If neither of these methods works then read how to request a new password below.

If the login is successful you might want to change your account details, also below.

Please make sure you read and have tried both methods of logging in (see above) before you request a new password.

To request a new password, enter EITHER your name OR your email address in the top login box and then click on "Request a new password".
An email will be sent to your registered email address. Please read this completely and then click on the "one-time login link"	.........

Once you have logged in,  please edit your account details to enter a new password (see below)

If the request does not result in an email being sent to you (make sure you check your "spam" folder), you should contact the System Administrator.

Please make sure you are logged in before attempting to change your password; your name should appear next to the LOG OUT at the top-right of every page.

To change your password,   click on the "My account" link at the top right-hand of every page.
When your details are displayed, click on "Edit".
Type in your new password twice...
Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on "Save"

If you cannot change your password, please contact the System Administrator.
