Wyndham and Limerick Learning Cities have come together with the PASCAL Learning Cities Networks to run an EcCoWell Webinar: Transformation through Empathy Partnerships - Empathy, Imagination and Wellbeing on Thursday 13th May at 6:30pm Melbourne time /9:30 am Dublin/London time.
The EcCoWell concept was developed by PASCAL in 2012 to integrate development in learning cities: -Economy/Ecology, Community/Culture/Cohesion, Wellness/Wellbeing and Lifelong Learning. This approach was developed as part of the PASCAL Program on International Exchanges (PIE) on lifelong learning.
This Webinar will examine what makes up a successful partnership. The guest speakers will share their dynamic partnership models ranging from grassroots to international; and how these models are transformative and have used empathy. The partnerships we will be exploring in an interactive interview style will be -
- Taipei & Datong, Taiwan as Learning Region Ecosystems
- Educational Peacekeeping in Acapulco, Mexico & Medellin, Colombia
- Global Learning Festival
- Irish Network of Learning Cites
The plans for future and the role of empathy partnerships for recovery and transformation will also be discussed, including how empathy partnerships can support achievement of the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
