The following two job vacancies are currently open at the University of Bristol in lifelong learning programmes:

Senior Lecturer in English Literature and Director of Part-time Programmes

The Senior Lecturer will provide strategic and operational leadership in flexible and evening teaching in the School of Humanities with a particular focus on programmes in English Literature. S/he will act as Director of Part-Time Programmes, including short courses across the School, and as Programme Director for the BA in English Literature and Community Engagement (ELCE). The starting date for the post is 1 August 2019, or as soon as possible thereafter.

Lecturer in Arts and Humanities (Foundation Year)

The 0.6 FTE Lecturer in Arts and Humanities will teach on the Arts and Humanities pathway of the innovative and interdisciplinary Foundation in Arts and Social Sciences (CertHE) programme. The starting date for the post is 1 August 2019 or as soon thereafter as possible. This post is fixed-term for 3 years. The successful applicant will contribute to and develop teaching on the Foundation programme and will also actively take on administrative duties for the programme – including working with colleagues on admissions and programme delivery.
