On 15 November we proudly announced three ASEF Summer University 23 Hackathon winners for the country categories Bangladesh, India and Pakistan as well as the Audience Award. Over 500 people joined our online voting.
The ASEFSU23 consisted of 3 main programme elements. In the pre-hack Phase (11-29 October 2021): "Ideation, including Challenge definition, knowledge building & stakeholder engagement", all participants undertook training and attended workshops to deepen their understanding of the theme of Sustainable Cities and Urbanisation, as well as provide them with an outlook on Bangladesh, India and Pakistan.

I am delighted to announce the creation of the Asia-Pacific Learning Cities Alliance (APLC) in co-operation with the Korea Association of Lifelong Learning Cities to revitalize lifelong learning in cities in Asia. The Alliance will hold its inaugural meeting on September 30, 2021, both online and offline.
